I consistently enjoy the simplicity of your posts. Honest photos, a few words. You're never asking too much of me to click read --which in an overwhelming world is something interesting. That said, none of that works if the things you're sharing aren't interesting and they continue to be ツ

Thanks, man. Appreciate the thoughts. I’d like for the photos to stand on their own all the time, but sometimes they need some words. It’s a challenge to find the right balance.

As a family with all the kids traveling west from Massachusetts to the Pacific Coast, way back in the 80’s, Joel, and we’d make our way the furthest west we could go and do an abrupt turn to the east after a month of camping all along the way. Your pictorial narrative has brought back such great memories of our time on the road. I always looked forward to getting home but always felt nostalgic about that turn towards the east marking the end of our summer travels before school started up again. Safe return, Joel.❤️

Those are beautiful memories, D. I know how meaningful they are for you. I would love to return to those days before social media, cell phones, and the tourist mobs. Seems like a simpler time.
